Bonnabel Boat Launch and Park has something for everyone. The park is still under construction but is still accessible and has a lot of nice features. There are plenty of open areas to play sports and have a picnic. the boat launch is very nice and there is plenty of parking. I was there on a Saturday taking these pictures. There is also a hiking and biking path along the levy that goes for miles. Another thing I like is that I felt completely safe here. If you are looking for a new place to explore take a ride to the Bonnabel Boat Launch at the foot of Bonnabel Blvd in Metairie and the lake front. You can exit off of Interstate 55 and travel north for about 2 miles and you will see the levy. Take the road over the levy and there you are!
